I've not been back to Greenock in many a year, I used to do archery out that way when I was at University - this is not encouraging me to make another visit!

If that is the size of Greenockian snakes I'd hate to encounter any of the Greenockian rats.

Just as there is a NfN Normal for Norfolk, there's a 'it's Greenock, whit d'ye expect' vibe. I don't know if you have ever watched any of the plays of Peter McDougall?
