I met Charlie a few times; he was a genuinely nice man, and a loss to politics.

I knew him quite well through university and debating. I do think that it was unfortunate for him that he won the seat in 1983, but agree he was a huge loss.

Now had a chance to watch it, and it's a very good documentary on his life. It's in so many ways a very sad story.
