Both Bat out of Hell and Total Eclipse are favourites of mine.

Sad news.

Always a Meatloaf fan, and I was aware of his work with Bonnie Tyler and Sisters of Mercy, but to find out that he penned Boyzone's 'No Matter What' still came as something of a surprise...

The duo of Lloyd Webber and Steinman on Whistle Down The Wind,  is,on the face of it an odd one but if you listen to Jesus Christ Superstar, and Bat Out of Hell together, you can hear that Bat Out of Hell is influenced by JCS.  That No Matter What was then covered by Boyzone as part of the first UK productions publicity shows an appreciation of getting good publicity.
