Astonishing waste!

They could distribute it to poorer sections free of cost. Or even put all the unsold items in a big room and tell people to pick any item they want for 1 pound each....or something like that.   They could make some money while selling it to people who might use it.

It is quite disgusting.

I, like many others I suspect, was bombarded with e-mails telling me it was "Prime Day" yesterday & today (already annoying me because it's not a day, it's 48 hours) and offering goods at much discounted prices. I am in the market for a new TV and had one in mind on Amazon, but after reading that I decided against it and will take advantage of John Lewis' superior guarantees on electrical goods.

Let your new slogan be "Back to the High Street" !

PS I know I'm pissing in the wind here. So you don't need to tell me.
