I seem to recall awhile back NS posted a house with some unique features. Here is another property for sale:

I think I'll pass.

FREAKY! :o A bathroom in that state would be very hard to keep clean and hygienic.

My thoughts exactly.

It's a set up for the photo. The toilet is unusable with that pink thing covering it and the array of soft furnishings in front of the shower probably aren't there most of the time because they are blocking the door.

It is still a very weird thing to do. ::)

Can't disagree with that.

But I guess if you were to buy the property the current owners would remove all the fixtures, fittings and furniture. And if you look beyond all the weird gaudy and chintzy stuff the basic decoration (walls, floor, fitted units etc), seems largely bland and white. Buy the property and you'd get a series of plain white rooms, which I guess you could paint pink if you liked that kind of thing. ;)

Not a book or book-case in sight. Tells me everything I need to know about the owners.

Maybe they prefer to use a Kindle as my husband and I do these days.

That too tells me everything I need to know.

And what is wrong with using a Kindle?

When it is sold, all the 'fancies' will be taken away and it will be a flat like any other. There's nothing wrong with using a kindle but it is nice to see full bookcases, visitors always make a bee line for the bookcase to see what you've read (& what they can borrow).

Kindles have no soul.

Neither do books. You are just being silly.
Don't get me wrong I much prefer books, they're nicer to look at and handle, but kindles work for some people (even for me on holiday) and surely anything that gets people reading is a good thing.

Steve's comment is amusing because it is so silly. ;D I have always enjoyed reading, when I was a kid I used to get told off by my mother for sitting inside reading a book on a summer's day, when she reckoned I should be outside playing. It is what I am reading that interests me not the method of delivery, book or Kindle. We had so many books at one time we could have filled a library, but have got rid of quite a lot since we acquired Kindles, however we still have a number of bookcases for the ones we have kept.
Robbie, I don't ever remember visitors checking out our books, or asking to borrow any.
