It encouraged all young girls who want to become star pop singers to do so by training as motor mechanics ...

I'm so out of touch, I thought it had finished years ago and the other one, 'Home & Away'. They were pleasant series from what I remember.

Rosie in Heartbeat was a motor mechanic (& she met a very nasty end in Australia). I do watch Heartbeat and the Royal on ITVhub though I have seen them all before.
