I've recently started reading 'Letters and Papers from Prison' by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, which was edited by his friend Eberhard Bethge, who is also frequently mentioned in the letters. The question is: how is "Bethge" pronounced - is it as though it was an English name, with the th prnounced as in "theatre", or "Betge"? I think that th is pronounced t in German, but I'm not sure.
