How do you teach safe auto-asphyxiation? If you make it completely safe, won't it lose the edge that makes it exciting for the people who do it?

My understanding is that the oxygen deprivation is what gives it that 'edge' and presumably that would remain the same?

OK. Well I'll bow to your knowledge and experience, not being into it myself. :)
However, there's no way to make oxygen deprivation safe, especially if you are on your own.

Seems like it would be similar to “safe playing chicken on the main road” lessons to me.
