Just checking if I can post in a new topic. On existing threads I get:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access this resource.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Will have a look at this

First time I've been able to look at the forum for a few days (Gordon has explained reasons elsewhere).
At first I thought the Russians had tracked down Ad-orientem to here and hacked the forum.

Clearly you can post on some threads :)
Can you try on the How Long thread again please. If it still doesn't work, please log out and log in again and then try again.

Posted OK thanks, but longer posts (eg. with longer cut+paste of lyrics) get the error.
ETA: but not all ... Also checked for objectionable words: original lyric included "wanker"
which seems ok generally.
Never mind ...

I have been getting this message over the last day or so when logging in. Can you tell me what it means?
An Error Has Occurred!
Call to undefined function shell_exec()

There is a specific recent issue we are looking at but at least people can get in, albeit not as smoothly as usual.
We'll keep you updated

Could you keep us posted in this thread where this or similar problems persist - we did have UK2 roll back one recent change but this error on log-in continues, although the rest of the functions seem to be working normally.
We're looking at doing a software update in the hope that this will contain bug-fixes that will resolve the problem.
