From the FB group of the same name. Any more examples of illiterate signs?

Profitable rolls!?
I recall one which isn't illiterate but just not logical. It was in a lift where the buttons for the floors were labelled 4th floor 3rd, floor, 2nd floor, 1st floor, this floor. This floor!

I do not understand the grocers' apostrophe thing. If you don't know where to put the apostrophe, why wouldn't you just leave it out?
Also, looking forward to my cream OAP.

There's also a little bit of irony in that Steve's image is called "profrolls.jpg". The name of the dessert is actually "profiteroles".

I named it that as an abbreviation of what they put in the board.

I went past a sign today saying "dog's welcome".
Fortunately it was on a chalkboard, so it was easy to correct (twice).

I'm glad I managed to spot my misplaced apostrophe on another thread and correct it! Nothing so bad as the Grocer's apostrophe though.

of course, the sign is advertising a welcome given by a particular dog. My dog's welcome is legendary and sloppy.

Which grocer?

Which grocer?
Ted Heath, perhaps? I should have capitalised both words, and put the apostrophe after the S in Grocers, since presumably more than one grocer makes the error. How about Grocers' Apostrophe?
btw, anyone remember Coates cider? They left out the apostrophe, presumably for aesthetic reasons. And please note, the founder of the firm was called Coate, not Coates, so the correct presentation should have been Coate's Cider.

I walked past a a block of flats and I noticed their sign said, "Resident's Car Parking Only." (Don't know why I haven't seen this sign before.)
