There is some interesting stuff here, and I suspect Sriram will enjoy it. I think that it's a bit simplistic to take the meanings at a time when it's not really clear what science is as the basis of the following 500 years. As the writer covers, it's not clear that people using the term 'supernatural' were doing anything more than linguistic legerdemain. Indeed, that's sort of how the article feels to me - some tricks with words.
