https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2023/mar/12/rishi-sunak-has-electricity-grid-upgraded-to-heat-his-private-pool
Construction work on Sunak’s private 12-metre swimming pool has finished just as many council-run baths, including in his local area (https://www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/23341910.york-tadcaster-swimming-pools-appeal-government-help/), are being forced to reduce their opening hours owing to increased energy costs.
Don't worry too much, a 12m pool would be suitable for...<...a quick calculation....>...anyone under 3ft tall.

Private swimming pools are irredeemably vulgar anyway, but this also shows how much our beloved leader cares about the environment. The short-arsed twat.

Not caring about the environment isn't really an issue for any political leader outside a green focussed party. It's ok as long as they make the right noises since that's what most people, including myself, feel comfortable with.
As for the ostentatious consumption, again it isn't a problem to the central part of the electorate. Indeed I suspect that the fact that he's paying for the upgrade and the helicopter trips himself may be seen as a plus by many after the anything for a buck Johnson.
