A niche interest, I'd have thought, and rather more absurd since we can never know with any accuracy how it sounded (after all, though we can make some educated guesses about classical Latin pronunciation, I'd say we were quite a bit in the dark about even that, except for being pretty certain that the Cs were hard (Kickero) and the Vs were Wubbleyous).
However, though almost certain links with the early Old Testament stories are interesting, and you're unlikely to develop that line of enquiry by speculating about how Akkadian sounded.
