Not sure if it was full nominative determinism but certainly arguable. Anyway if the 8 week suspension is approved, he's open to a recall petition

Here's a tip.
When linking to an article on one the BBC's live streams, use the share button on the article. Your link is meaningless because the stream has updated. The link you really wanted was probably this

That's a bit of a mouthful so I would use URL tags Pincher report (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-politics-66115262?ns_mchannel=social&ns_source=twitter&ns_campaign=bbc_live&ns_linkname=64a67f6d506a9f4885dbfec4%26Pincher%20caused%20%27significant%20damage%20to%20reputation%20and%20integrity%27%20of%20Commons%20-%20report%262023-07-06T08%3A54%3A59.413Z&ns_fee=0&pinned_post_locator=urn:asset:8ce29f72-15e0-48d2-88ce-e2955b8d712a&pinned_post_asset_id=64a67f6d506a9f4885dbfec4&pinned_post_type=share)

Anyway, it looks like this will trigger another by-election.
I bet Rishi Sunk wishes he'd never stood for the job.

Electorate is around 72k so needs something around 7,250 signatures.
Picher had 42.6% of the votes, and 30.5k votes, Labour about 11k and other parties total of around 4.5k. Not sure how the electorate will feel about these accusations, and he's said he won't stand again. Still think that the recall is more likely than not but it will need quite a lot of work from Labour on the ground to achieve enough signatures.

Pincher lost his appeal against the suspension
