Though I probably associate him most with Sapphire and Steel as opposed to the roles mentioned.

His political views were alarmingly right-wing - he was a devout Thatcherite and Trumpista who left the UK because he thought it was too socialist, and in an interview I've just read from a few years ago he sounded positively Randian.
