I have to say that the fact that other people were even able to use it as a hotspot is something of a failure of IT.

Not that I'm trying to excuse what happened.

If he was expecting to do official business while he was away, it would be reasonable to have roaming on.

Oh yes, I agree, I'm fascinated by that but he should resign now as well as the investigation.

And he has now resigned just before the publication of the investigation into it. Apparently he doesn't want it becoming a distraction. A bit late for that.

'Matheson faces 27-day suspension over iPad scandal' - while I don't disagree with the decision of the committee, it's so obviously political that it is a problem as well. That we don't have recall petitions for the Scottish Parliament needs to be fixed.
