The idea of allocated matches and required wearings of an arm band is just bizarre. Though I suspect that many speaking up for Ahmedhodzic, probably condemned James McClean for not wearing a poppy.

The idea of it being mandatory to show your support for a cause is bizarre. I would also not wear the aforesaid armband in the same situation, not because I have anything against the LGBT etc community but because I am in favour of free expression within legal limits and forced speech is not free speech.

I think Ahmedhodzic is ok to refuse to the arm band. I think the ICC are in the right to refuse Khawaja permission to wear the shoes.
