That's a bit weird. I have always thought they were more or less the same colour. I never thought Neptune was that blue colour.

By the way, they're going to rename Uranus to stop the schoolboy jokes. Can you guess what the frontrunner for the new name is?

Apart from its former name of Herschel (after its discoverer) wasn't it once called George (in honour of the contemporary king)?
I don't know how royalist contemporary astronomers are, but perhaps some might want it to be called Charles.
We've only got one feminine name for a planet from Roman mythology - Venus. How about renaming Uranus Diana? (That would appease the royalists too).
