It will and for the wrong reasons.
Instead of looking at the failures of our asylum system, instead, attention will be directed at the supposed enables of people like this. Expect a lot more criticism of judges, lawyers and religious people who were involved, and no focus on the lamentable policies followed and decisions made by the government.

And, of course, given he was granted asylum, it's not really about the boats but that won't stop it being shouted from the rooftops.
