Game over as far as I am concerned.

You need technology to measure where the take off foot is positioned, technology that is unlikely to be available in a school competition.

And yes, it does remove a skill and how Jon Ridgeon could argue that taking away the possibility of a no jump would "add to the jeopardy and the drama of the competition" is totally beyond me.
