Title: Electric car battery charges in under five minutes in track test

At this sort of speed one of the worries about electric cars may be removed but whether they are the right solution to the problem is still a question, and until there is real impetus to creating the infrastructure that supports them fully, it might be moot anyway

The article says this:

Quote
The sports car the Nyobolt battery was fitted to - which was tested over two days this week - achieved a range of 120 miles after four minutes

120 miles is about half of what it needs to be and the car is a small sports car so the battery to achieve that is probably quite small too.

It sounds like it does represent an improvement but not the apparent five times better.
