I read that article earlier. Whilst I think a person who is terminally ill and is mentally capable of making the decision to be assisted to die should be permitted to do so, I am not happy about the couple in the article being assisted to die as they didn't tick the correct boxes, imo. The man wasn't terminally ill and the woman had dementia.

A few years ago, the orchestral conductor Sir Edward Downes accompanied his terminally ill wife to Dignitas and they died together. He was not ill but did not want to continue living without her.
