I think scraping the planned cap on care charges will do them more damage.

Will be fascinating to see what comes put of any OBR review. If it's supportive of Labour, then I can see the Tories moving more to the Liz Truss position that there is a left wing financial establishment.

Andrew Dilnot describes the scrapping of the planned cap as a tragedy. It seems incredibly sad that the Labour Govt  is continuing the useless record of the Tories on this.
