My choice would be Gisèle Pélicot

GP would certainly be worthy, but I remember reading years ago, after they were criticised for naming some other total rat-bag as POTY, that it is not for the most admirable person, but the most influential, for good or ill, so I suppose the orange ogre counts.

I understand their criteria, they just aren't mine, and Gisèle Pélicot didn't make their shortlist of 10.
Pélicot's bravery is what will stay with me about this year, along with the case emphasising the banality, and the ubiquity of misogyny.
