Is anyone, or does anyone out there have a friend or relative who is, cartoon savvy?

I have a picture of a cartoon character that I am trying to identify - I have seen her many times and should know her name and the name of the cartoon in which she appears:

Female

Probably teenager

Brunette

Wears square-framed spectacles - really square not with rounded corners

Any suggestions welcomed

Why not put in some search term which contains the main elements of this character  and search in Google Images?

Lets try to jog your memory, do you think it is a cartoon we might see on the telly, or newspaper, or comic version, is she fat, thin, how does she dress, is it a sixties look, what kind of shoes is she wearing, is she sexy, demure, provocative, sad looking or a fun girl, we know she is specky, is she kind of geekish.

I only remeber her face - I am sure that it was an American cartoon show, like Kim Possible, but that is as far as it goes. As to tne rest of the details I can't help you, in all the pictures I have she is naked!

Gentlemen all - may I offer you all my grateful thanks for your efforts on my behalf.

As is the case with difficulty operating a video recorder, if you need help ask a seven year old - in thgis case my younger daughter's boyfriend's neice. We were discussing who the young lady might be and little one pipes up "Sounds like Irma from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles",

It is - Irma Langinstein, best friend of April O'Neil in that cartoon series.
