Chrids Evans nearly died.
« on: January 10, 2017, 09:02:13 PM »

Why is it that useless articles like Chris Evans get away with it and real talents that add to our world do not!

https://uk.yahoo.com/news/chris-evans-almost-died-last-month-after-contracting-illness-120718989.html

I am sorry for his family for the stress this must have caused, but I have no sympathy for this arrogant arse at all!

He's not going to last forever, Owlswing!

Death is no respecter of talents.

I don't care for Chris Evans, never have, but wouldn't be happy to see him die.
He certainly had a high temperature but, let's face it, a generally healthy and fit person of his age doesn't usually peg with that sort of infection.   He probably felt as though he was going to, especially if his ears were infected.

I am no lover of the Ginger Evans, but in recent years, he ahs helped bring in considerable sums to the BBC Children in Need project.  I am sure that there are folk I enjoy listening to on the radio and TV who are anathema to others.
Are your, or your friends'/relatives', garages, lofts or sheds full of unused DIY gear, sewing/knitting machines or fabric and haberdashery stuff?

Yes, same here.  I can't understand why anyone would feel bad about him living when others whom we like better, die - that's the way it is.  In any case, plenty of good and useful people, like Claire Hollingsworth, live a very long time!

Chris Evans may not be all that wonderful to us but he isn't of Osama bin Laden's calibre , and doesn't deserve such great contempt.

As you said, he brings in a lot of money for Children in Need and that is truly arduous work.

Hmm, when I read the title I thought this was going to be a thread about Top Gear and I was going to have to correct the OP by pointing out that he did die, frequently.

But it turns out this is about real death and much as I can't stand to watch him on the telly, I would not wish this on him or his family.

Too much time spent hating people is toxic, possibly any time but dependent on personal circs hard to avoid. Never 'got' him but lots of people have. Keep passing the open windows, Chris et al (Who, in the name of the wee man, is Al)?

I have no idea who Al is, but who ate him and why?
