As funny as this might be (and apparently some amused responses to it are being considered by The Book of records for the shortest time for ''it to wear off'' ) it still is just another ''Oi nutter!'' argument from the atheist fraternity.

The colander of mercy is not strained
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the head beneath.
Sometimes I wish my first word was 'quote,' so that on my death bed, my last words could be 'end quote.'

This is no smiling matter - it's religious persecution!    >:(

There's a lot of holes in his argument.

Can't be bothered reading the whole piece, but suspect that this is a bit of racist crap on the part of the student - I'm reminded of Robert Relf in the 70s, a notorious racist who founded his own pseudo-religion which forbade the wearing of headgear, so as to challenge the exception provided for Sikhs to wearing motorcycle helmets, because they had to wear their turban. He rode a motorbike with no helmet, and challenged the law when he was arrested for not wearing one, on grounds of his religious rights.

, which should be "Funny as this might be...". The "As...as..." form should only be used when making a direct comparison, e.g. "As big as a house" or "As much of an utter twat as Jacob Rees-Mogg".
I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.
