If he's "based out of" Barrie, Ontario, presumably he's not based in Barrie, Ontario, so where is he based? What a stupid expression! "Goes viral in UK because of course it did" is completely meaningless. This link is a prime candidate for 'Extreme Pedantry' on Facebook.
