Only 300 thousand off a million pounds!

I like the way the story is about using Bono and The Edge as fake employees rather than a man stealing £700k from the NHS, even to the point that the article carries a photo of Bono even though he had nothing whatever to do with the fraud.

Then the article admits he didn't list "Bono" and "The Edge" but "Paul Hewson" and "David Evans", which I would bet most people do not associate with Irish rock bands. It's a really bad piece of journalism and I'd say the headline is lying click bait.

Though to be fair to the fraudster, his  'father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery.'

'The Unforgettable Fire', right?

One of their better lyrics, and 'Oh, smashing, groovy, yay capitalism!'

That was on the U2 virus that infected iTunes once.

On a slightly more serious note than me posting Austin Powers and Dr Evil quotes, I have to note I am a little confused by jeremyp's idea that the headline isn't about someone stealing 700k from the NHS when the first six 'words' of it are

'Fraudster who stole £700k from NHS'
