Leonardo da Vinci - A Life in Drawing
« on: February 05, 2019, 08:29:05 PM »
Off to Derby tomorrow to catch that part of this exhibition. For those interested the venues for all the displays are in the following link:

I'm going to try to get to Sheffield in a week or two as well.

I see that some are coming to Kelvingrove, so I'll make a point of seeing them - thanks for the heads-up.

Yep - took the 5 year-old grandson to see Dippy last week (though he was more interested in the collection of 'heads' that hang down from the ceiling).

Over-rated.
I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.

Just not to your taste SteveH (but I'm not going to fall out with you about it).
I might go to see the exhibition in London in May.
