I'm quite shocked at this, same age as me too. Someone bought me a cookery book written by him years ago, he certainly was at the forefront of TV cookery. Liked him.

Bleeding in the brain can do a lot of damage, my husband had half his brain trashed when an aneurysm burst, it could easily have killed him.
