What the actual fuck?! How is this allowed in the UK in the 21st century and why isn't the government supporting the ban?

I had wondered if it was due to him being Labour, but on checking he's actually Tory, so no clue why they won' support it.

I wonder if it's a badly written article and it's not that the UK govt have said they won't support it but rather that they haven't said they will so it is making a generalized point about Private Member's Bills

Even so, if a private member's bill has merit they should support it. I really can't believe that this wasn't banned decades ago (at least).

yes, I agree. I'm just not sure that they won't support it because I think the article is unclear on that.

On November 27th I posted a thread about virginity tests. I hope the private member's bill to ban these  evil tests is passed.
