  • God? She's black.
Oo-er miissus! We all know what "French adult-only holidays" really means, nudge-nudge, wink-wink!
Seriously though, I think that adult-only holidays are a good idea, within reason.
I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.

That would take a wrecking ball to Warner Leisure's business model.

At one point in my life, I would have agreed but having had the misfortune a few years ago to have booked a holiday in Spain during one of their school holiday periods, I now strongly support adult-only ventures!

I don't see the problem if it is only 3% of their tourism total.

Plenty of holiday organisations promote their companies as child-friendly, often discounting prices for children, for which childless adults presumably pick up some of the tab.

Also, I don't want to be disturbed by children if they are out of control. It's fine to take the high moral ground as some in this article do, but make sure your children behave first.
By replacing your morning coffee with green tea, you can lose up to 89% of the little joy you still have left in your life.
