A recent example of footballing brains was Ramsey in the last Wales game. I thought he was sensational, and if you had a camera tracking him for 90 minutes, I think you would see his positional awareness, and that includes awareness of his team-mates and his opponents, and then his ability to pass the ball into unexpected areas, and of course, great technique. I suppose calling it 'brains' sounds odd, as it's not intellectual, more instinctive. Football is geometry on grass, with heavy lifting.
