If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. - God is Love.

Ah, but what about if the marshmallow is in the form of an offering to Pele?  Wouldn't she protect the supplicant?

Dear Trent,

Reminds me of a wonderful quote from the late great Sir Terry Pratchett ( taken from the book "Thief of Time" ).

Quote
“Some humans would do anything to see if it was possible to do it. If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.”

Considering that the reasons given for not doing it were not the reasons I was expecting, it was not necessarily a stupid question.

That's what I thought. it was a hypotheticackle question about toxicity.
I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.

Agreed. There’s nothing to suggest that the questioner was actually contemplating such a thing, and the answer told me something I didn’t know before.
