Sessho-seki
« on: March 09, 2022, 05:56:01 AM »

Hi everyone,

The stone called 'the killing stone' in Japan is believed to have housed a demon. The stone has been found to have split into two recently....thereby unleashing the demon....

As if we don't have enough demons in the world already...

Cheers.

Oo-er! :o
I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.

It was said that "nature had simply taken its course" ... so we should fear the worst.

Clearly Tamamo-no-Mae was not herself the demon but was possessed by a "kumiho" as documented in the series "Lovecraft Country".

Who knows how many are abroad at any time?

Ah, but I was so much older then ... I'm younger than that now
