I enjoyed this article from the Grauniad, but was disappointed that there wasn't a set of interactive choices at the end, as I'd expected. Therefore, here's my set, to get a discussion going. My choice in each case is indicated with an asterisk.

1 - tea* or coffee with breakfast?
2 - white or wholemeal* bread?
3 - wine or beer*?
4 - white wine or red wine*?
5 - beer or cider*?
6 - Marmite: yum or yuck*?
7 - scohn* or sconn?
8 - HP sauce* or tomato ketchup?
9 - sauerkraut - yum* or yuck?
10 - pork* or lamb?
11 - mustard* or horseradish sauce with beef?
12 - English* or French mustard?
13 - jam or marmalade* on breakfast toast?
14 - sandwich: blt* or tuna mayo?
15 - mayonnaise* or salad cream?
16 - Stilton* or Cheddar?
17 - keg or cask*?
18 - tea - bags or loose*?
19 - spag bol* or chilli conk?
20 - korma or vindaloo*?

8 - HP sauce or tomato ketchup? - Depends: Brown sauce on bacon, ketchup on the rest.

12 - English* or French mustard?
13 - jam or marmalade on breakfast toast? - HONEY!
14 - sandwich: blt* or tuna mayo?

18 - tea - bags or loose? - Either

Like NS the wine/beer choice isn't that clear cut. Wine at home, beer in pub.

7 - scohn or sconn*? (scohn is just flat out wrong - ask a Scot)
8 - HP sauce or tomato ketchup*?
9 - sauerkraut - yum or yuck*?
10 - pork or lamb? - (like both)
11 - mustard* or horseradish sauce with beef? (mustard with steak or horseradish with roast)
12 - English* or French mustard?
13 - jam or marmalade* on breakfast toast?
14 - sandwich: blt* or tuna mayo?
15 - mayonnaise* or salad cream?
16 - Stilton* or Cheddar?
17 - keg or cask*?
18 - tea - bags* or loose?
19 - spag bol* or chilli conk?

I'll normally have tea if it's been a heavy night purely to get rehydrated. Otherwise coffee. Sometimes I'll have a mug of tea and then one of coffee.

2 - white or wholemeal* bread?

Every time. I don't understand why anybody eats white bread voluntarily.

3 - wine or beer*?

Except with a meal

4 - white wine or red wine*?
5 - beer* or cider?
6 - Marmite: yum* or yuck?
7 - scohn* or sconn?

This is not a food choice but a dialect issue.

8 - HP sauce or tomato ketchup?

Mayonnaise

9 - sauerkraut - yum* or yuck?
10 - pork* or lamb?
11 - mustard* or horseradish sauce with beef?
12 - English* or French mustard*?

Both

13 - jam or marmalade on breakfast toast?

Marmite, duh!

14 - sandwich: blt* or tuna mayo?
15 - mayonnaise* or salad cream?
16 - Stilton* or Cheddar*?

Depends on the context. Stilton with a fine port, cheddar in my sandwiches

17 - keg or cask*?
18 - tea - bags or loose*?
19 - spag bol* or chilli conk*?
20 - korma or vindaloo?

Madras. Korma is too bland for my taste and whilst vindaloo is fine, a meal is more enjoyable without burning your mouth off or your bottom the next day.
