I think it was absolutely brilliant.

It's hilarious that Brexiteers tout our new found "freedoms" but also want an inquiry into why the BBC allowed people the freedom to wave whatever flag they liked inside the hall.

Yes, the irony is impressive

As it is unlikley that the BBC forced anyone to wave EU flags then what the Brexiters should really be asking for is an inquiry into...ermm... the British Public.

I think the implication is that the BBC should have stopped the handing out of the flags.

Some of the comments are remarkable.

So it is all about freedom but people must not be allowed to wave a flag that isn't officially sanctioned.

It is all about freedom but no-one in the future must have the freedom to choose to rejoin the EU if that is the democratic will of the people some years from now.

Why should they do that?

If it is that triggering for the poor gammon snowflakes, then just ban all flags.

Personally I find the Union flag annoying because of its usage by fascist groups and the Conservative Party so just ban it.

Nonsense, all of it, just nonsense.

Let's take back control ... so we can stop you doing stuff that should be perfectly acceptable to do in any free country.

I'd suggest they stage a protest, but....

Fuck 'em.
The more outraged those wankers are, the happier I am.

"Yes, very."

I don't think they should. There was nothing wrong with what happened, as far as I'm concerned.

N. These people have every right to be triggered. In fact, their lives would be empty without something to be outraged about.

No. It's the national flag of the United Kingdom. We should not be letting these low-lifes claim it for their own.

Of course it is. The majority of people who voted Brexit know deep down it was a mistake. This is just them lashing out because they can't bear the truth.
