I remember its last perihelion, in 1986. Big disappointment - it wasn't visible to the naked eye. The only comet I've seen was Hale-Bopp, which was clearly visible low in the North-Eastern sky for a week or two in the early morning in 1997.

We should be treated to "a spectacular close-up in 2061" Damn, pretty sure I will be stone dead by then
No doubt SfG will still be going strong, however
