Seriously Tallis's music and that of his contemporaries does not get enough attention. It is sublime music. Many years ago I did study madrigals as part of my A-level course. Although most of any knowledge I accumulated has long gone - I still love the music.

Indeed, Trent, it is sublime. Well, what I know of it, anyway.

Like most people, I suppose, my first contact was with the Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis of Vaughan Williams. This is also sublime and if it encourages people to listen to the Elizabethan music, then good.
