Not around so much
« on: March 08, 2018, 11:10:16 PM »
I haven't been around much due to my Mother's health failing quickly over the last few months. As posters will perhaps remember, I posted about her dementia sometime ago now.

Anyway yesterday morning Mum died at the age of 96 - so a good long life although the last 3 years have not been good.

So I won't be around much for awhile yet, what with death certificates and the like to deal with.

I miss her, life is sad sometimes.

Anyway you lot, carry on carrying on and I'll be back with you by and by.

My deepest sympathies TV.

My mother died in 2003, also after a battle with demntia, a battle that no-one ever seems to win which makes it harder to fight for both sufferers and their families.

May your mother's walk to the Summerlands be smooth and sunlit.

Bright Blessings, Love and Light, and may the Old Ones watch over you and yours - especially your mother until the time of her re-birth.

Trent, the piece you wrote about your mother's dementia was beautiful and I copied it at the time into the Best bits, I went to find that today, so that people could read and I have to admit that after rereading it to be somewhat tearful. Take care, dear friend.

No matter when we receive this news it is sad and makes me feel for you Trent. I hope you are getting there even today and think of what a wonderful innings your mum has had and how devoted you have been to her. Not been around much myself. But I wanted you to know my heartfelt sympathy and prayers with you.
