Had a great time yesterday on the Ride, from Oaklands College in St Albans. There were 10, 20, 30, and 40 mile options. I did the 40 mile one. The weather was just right - dry, but coolish. I assume the 10-mile option was intended for, amongst others, children with parents, but all the kids I saw seemed to be doing a longer otion, including two with their parents who were only eightish, who were doing the full 40 miles. 21st Century kids are tough!
