Well , I managed to get all my Christmas shopping done this morning .
I'm now enjoying a glass of sherry and chunk of pork pie while I put up my Christmas decoration and White Christmas is on in the background !
Merry Christmas everyone, especially to those who live alone 🎄🎅🍷

Had no room for a Christmas tree in the window due to my Giant Meccano Block Setting Crane, So I have decorated it with fairy lights and tree ornaments.  Looks great and won admiration from the postman!

As we approach the great celebration of our Saviour's birth, I wish you all a happy, joyful Christmas.

Thank you for your kind words

Turns out I've developed a reaction to one (or more ) of the heart meds I'm on causing coughing spasms and shortness of breath
So it's a matter of ilimination now by changing one med at a time to detect which one it is .
X-ray came back normal too , also I have a deficiency in vitamin D which can be easily remedied

Yippee👍

I once made a Christmas card for a friend on which I drew a bottle of Fairy Liquid, with the caption "Hands that do dishes can be soft as your head". I attached some cotton wool, which I described as "Genuine Hairy Snow".

Innocent days.

Two of the female ones are called Mary Christmas and Sandra Claus.

The Santa Marathon is followed by a group of brave streaking vicars: the Nicholas Parsons.

I'll get me coat.

Happy Christmas everyone. We've just had our dinner and shared presents, as is the tradition over here. Off to my Ex's now, who is still my best friend and we'll enjoy the rest of the evening chilling and drinking mulled wine.

Where does Father Christmas live?
Edinburgh!
That's where Royal Mail sends all letters from kids to FC or SC, if they've got a fantasy address such as "North Pole" or "Reindeerland", or RM's official FC postcode, XM4 5HQ (XMAS HQ - geddit?), or which have no address, whether or not they've got stamps on. The kid gets a letter from FC back, provided there's a return address. They are dealt with at Edinburgh Mail Centre.
He used to live in Belfast, but has moved to Edinburgh this year.

Following Christmas tradition, watching Scrooged (though this year Michael Pollack has actually passed on)  with a good red wine, with my beautiful wife, counting my blessings. Saying good night for now. I hope your day is a joy, and may your dog go with you.

I think you mean Michael Pollard, but in any case, if you mean he's snuffed it, popped his clogs, kicked the bucket, handed in his dinner-pail, is pushing up daisies, has rung down the curtain, has gorn to join the choir invisibule, is a stiff or a gonner, say so, but spare us twee euphemisns like "passed on" (or even worse, just "passed", as the yanks say).
