Remember in The Avengers kicking Jacky Pallo in the teeth, mistiming it and actually kicking him in the teeth! (regrettably probably apocryphal!)
The Holy Bible, probably the most diabolical work of fiction ever to be visited upon mankind.

An it harm none, do what you will; an it harm some, do what you must!

I fear that that was Honor Blackman rather than Diana Rigg - both wonderful.

And both dead this year.

Linda Thorson must be a bit concerned.

Oh no! I was only thinking of her today - yes, really. It was because I saw her in "All Creatures Great and Small" (great new series), the other night & was remembering her in other things.

I particularly remember her in a TV drama in the late eighties in which Diana Rigg played a murderous mother and grandmother. At the time she thanked the television coming for giving her the part of a lifetime. I now cannot remember what it was called but was based on a book which I had read - Mother Love? Maybe. It was brilliant as was she. I hope it is shown again in tribute to her.

She died of cancer but it sounds as though her last months were comfortable:-
"She spent her last months joyfully reflecting on her extraordinary life, full of love, laughter and a deep pride in her profession," from her daughter.
