I watched, My Brain The Rupture (on bbc iplayer) a couple of nights ago. In some ways I can empathise  with her and how long it is still taking to recover.

We watched it too. My husband had the same problem in 2006. He was nearly 60 when he had his and was in hospital for nearly 4 months. He was unable to to do any academic work again, which has upset him badly. As he has got older he has more and more health problems and his walking is not good. :(

Watched 1883 the prequel to the prequel of Yellowstone, very very slow, enormously depressing
I liked it!

Still working my way through 'Still Game' Last one I watched was Winston and Winnie's Wedding. Love it, except for the tiresome and pointless running joke of never seeing Meena's face.

"Yes, very."

Watched Alan Bennett's "Allelujah!" on BBCIPlayer last night.

Enjoyable if somewhat clunky, although the ending hit particularly hard I thought.

It's not his best, but it's still miles better than most of the "drama" that is presented to us as groundbreaking.

I saw "Allelujah" yesterday. It was worth watching but not enjoyable.

Dr Who, natch, but not over-impressed by the firt two episodes of the new series - too cartoony and silly. DW has never been hard sci-fi, but this bordering on fairy-story.

Currently three episodes in to 'Years and Years'. a dystopian sci-fi drama set in the near future,in which Trump nukes an articial Chinese island, setting off political and financial turmoil, and the rise of extreme right-win populist parties, including, in the UK, "Four-Star" (similar to 'Reform'). It's not bad (though noot as gripping as it might have been), but it doesn't half overdo the inclusive casting - one extended family of about 12 contains a gay couple, a black woman, a half-Chinese girl, and a disabled single mother, AND there's an office worker wth only one arm! Still -- not bad.

I wasn't really taking much notice as the opening titles ran, but did I see the word "Disney"?

It's shown by the Beeb in the UK, and Disney everywhere else.
