Interesting point about the possible split between swearing and bullying in the workplace. Certainly I would say that swearing is more common than it was - but that it isn't used much for bullying. Indeed some of the worst bullies I've seen never swore.

The only real uses for swearing are for being offensive and for bullying.  Casually inserting swear words left right and centre without thought, seems to me to devalue the words and language.

Ah, but I was so much older then ... I'm younger than that now

Fuck yes!
I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.
