Most UK adults have high cholesterol
« on: November 06, 2023, 01:59:41 PM »
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-67303204 - glad to know it's not just me, as I discovered after a recent visit to the doctor, as a result of which I've resolved to eat less - maybe no - red meat, and especially processed meat (I'll miss sausages), and eat more oily fish, which is apparently good for reducing cholesterol. I already eat wholemeal bread and brown rice, which are also good. I suppose I'll have to give up butter, and go back to marg.  https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/high-cholesterol/how-to-lower-your-cholesterol/
I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.
