Happy Christmas!
« on: December 22, 2023, 03:03:54 PM »
Can I take a moment to wish you all a peaceful and happy Christmas break, and to raise a small glass too to absent friends – Leonard James (for whom a chilled amontillado will be perfect), Floo, Wigginhall, Susan Doris and all the others who together did so much to enliven and distract us along the way.

All best,

Blue

Waes hael!
I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.

Merry Christmas one and all. Hard to believe that this place has been going for the last 13 Christmases, and as Blue reminds we've lost a few friends along the way - but a few of us still here and I hope it stays that way!

A very merry and warm Christmas to everyone here.  I'll raise a glass to absent friends of this forum as well.
