I have read on the web today that Chris Squire has died.

Although I have long felt that Jon Camp of Renaissance was a more interesting prog rock bassist than Chris, Chris was the first bassist I came across who wanted to use all four strings to play a tune, rather than use one string & move your index finger up and down (a la Gordon Sumner). There will be a rumbling in heaven tonight.

Not sure about Jon Camp, but I believe that Chris Squire was a self-taught guitarist. Ken Bruce played 'Wondrous Stories' at 10.03 this morning in memory of the man.
