Title: friends of Gertrude Bell
Post by: SusanDoris on April 19, 2016, 07:43:12 AM
At present I am listening to a biography of Gertrude Bell. One of her long-time friends was a Times reporter whose name sounds like Domlan Cherrill, but googling various combinations of spellings I cannot find out more. I would be grateful if anyone here can help in my search.
Thank you.

Could it be Damien Chazelle?

Sorry, Susan. False trail, wrong era!  :-[

Thank you! I have just looked him up - I had never heard of him!! :) Sounds like quite a colourful character.
